over the phone, so please use the parts and glass inquiry form on the site for information
on purchasing replacement glass or parts. If you do make a purchase on line, you
can do so with confidence. We use industry standard encryption technology and secure

card security is our highest priority and our vendor, Progress Lighting has taken
several steps to ensure that your payment information is processed confidentially

Making a credit card purchase at our on line store is actually as secure as using
your credit card at a local store or shopping mall. We realize that you may be concerned

What about out of stock items?
We stock the entire Progress Lighting Product Catalog in our own warehouse. Most
items from supplemental catalogs are considered non stock items and are marked Catalog
Page 2009 or 2010 on the fixture detail page of our web site. Back orders generally
take an additional 7-10 days to ship. Unlike other online lighting stores,
we only charge when your lighting ships, there are no upfront charges or 100% deposits
required. As an example, if you order 4 items but only 2 ship out right away, you
would be charged for those 2 fixtures and then charged for the remaining 2 fixtures,
when the back order comes in from the factory. Please note that in some cases both
we and Progress Lighting may be out of a particular item. In this case it is unlikely
that anyone else will have it available either. If you cannot wait for those longer
back orders, we suggest that you choose an alternate fixture. Sometimes, with
larger orders, we may decide to ask Progress Lighting, the manufacturer to ship
your order from the factory for us, in order to ship complete. This can take an
additional business day. In the cases of these direct shipments, we do charge the
entire amount up front. However, this shortens the lead time by 7-10 days on any
back orders that are out of stock at the factory, the time it would take the items to
get from Progress Lighting, to us and then on to you.

What are your web site shopping hours?
Our website is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may place orders online at
any time. We process orders during our business hours. All orders are processed
by our next business day. You should receive automated email confirmation of your
order shortly after placing it online and a shipping notification email from us
on the next business day, from the time you placed your order.
Why are some items not available to ship UPS Ground?
A small percentage of our product is too big or too fragile for UPS shipping. Those
items must be shipped by truck.

use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made
at ProgressLightingOutlet.com while using the ProgressLighting.com secure server.
In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit
card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.
Order Cancellations
We are able to quickly refund any purchase from the ProgressLightingOutlet.com site
from the time your order is placed until before it leaves our warehouse. If your
order has been shipped before you’ve cancelled, please email us for return instructions
when your products are received by you. We will issue the credit when we receive
the order back in our warehouse. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase
after receiving your product(s), please review our return policy to determine your
preferred method of return.
Product Returns
Unlike other online lighting stores, Progress Lighting Outlet has no restocking
charges on current non-discontinued items! Please do not call for returns. You must
email
customerservice@progresslightingoutlet.com with your name, order number
and items you wish to return, to request a return goods authorization number (RGA#)
and return instructions. There is a 60 day return period from date
of receipt on all current non discontinued and non phase out items. For policy on
those items please see close outs and discontinued return policy below.
Fixtures may be returned to our distribution center via UPS, or trucking company,
provided the product is a current Progress Lighting SKU #, unused, repacked into
its original box, packaging, all instructions and accessories. Upon confirmation
of return to our warehouse, you will be credited for the amount of the fixture minus
the value of free shipping (if any).
Close Outs, Clearance and Discontinued Product Returns
All items must be returned within 10 business days after the date of receipt, to
avoid restocking fees. Customer is responsible for shipping charges back to our
warehouse as well as the value of any free shipping if applicable. Please follow
our RGA procedures to arrange for return of items in this category. Items received
after 10 business days after date of receipt, will be subject to a 25% restocking
fee. No returns allowed on Discontinued or Close Outs / Clearance items after 30
days from receipt of items
IMPORTANT - ITEMS RETURNED WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION OR RGA# ARE SUBJECT TO A 25%
RESTOCKING FEE.
Defective Items, Shipping Damage or Shipping Errors
Defective fixtures will be exchanged for the exact same model at no additional charge
to you. For items damaged in shipping we will send out replacement glass or parts.
If fixtures are damaged beyond broken glass or missing parts, a replacement fixture
will be sent out once damaged item has been called back to our warehouse by us.
DO NOT REFUSE THE SHIPMENT. Upon inspection, please reply to our shipping notification
email with the tracking numbers of your order and we will process it right away.
If you do not have your shipping notification email, please email
customerservice@progresslightingoutlet.com with your name, date of order
and tracking number. For any product received that is not the product ordered, upon
verification, we will exchange the item at no additional cost to you. Proof of purchase
(e.g. receipt and/or packing slip) is required for all returns. Credits will only
be issued to the credit card used for the original purchase. Exchanges under this
policy are handled thusly - Customers may elect to send back the items via a prepaid
call tag first, before replacement fixture is sent out or elect to pay to have replacements
sent out first and then credited when item or items are received back in the warehouse
and processed through our accounting system. The value of missing accessories, if
any will be deducted from the credit amount of the return. You have 30 days
from date of receipt to report in any items damaged in shipping, missing parts,
defective or incorrect items, after which we cannot replace or exchange any items
which fall under this category.
